Nelson double bed

The Nelson wooden double bed, designed by Matteo Nunziati for Bonaldo, is the main element of this new collection dedicated to the sleeping area. The essential lines, the careful study of shapes and proportions as well as the meticulous attention to detail are its peculiarities. The absolute protagonist is the spectacular and important wooden headboard which surrounds, like a frame, a smaller, soft and padded headboard. The base of the bed, also made of wood, flat and thin, rests on slender metal feet: elements that give the Nelson bed a "suspension" effect, as if it were floating inside the bedroom. In the Nelson L version the headboard is wider and the bedside tables are incorporated into the headboard of the bed for a harmonious and elegant result
